Rob grew up fishing with his father in the small mountain streams of New Jersey as well as the classic Catskill region of New York State. Orsini, however was born to work at Jacklin’s Fly Shop! He came to us two weeks after graduating high school, thus completing a goal set when he was just 12 years old. Rob knew one day he would move West and work for his family friend Bob Jacklin. In his time fishing the Yellowstone region, Rob has come to know the area intimately. He has made it his mission to fish as much of the waters in and around the Park as possible. He is comfortable on a small tributary like Tower Creek or on the much larger Yellowstone River and will work tirelessly to get you fish in any situation. Whether you are looking for a backcountry hike to a remote stream or a float down the Madison, Rob will work hard to make your day an enjoyable one. In the off season, he is a history teacher in Rigby, Idaho, where he and his family reside. Rob has a wife Amy and two children Vin and Gabby. On his free time you can find him hiking the prairies and mountainsides looking for all types of avian prey with his gun dog, Guido.
